Because this gets such rave reviews, we're sharing this recipe from (Jul/Aug '18)  the electrical flow issue.
Many of y'all know Marci Tsohonis' writing inwards the magazine.  It is unremarkably sumptuous soaps made alongside amazing, healing oils too herbs.  What y'all mightiness non know is that she's too a chief inwards the kitchen, whipping upward all kinds of delicacies too delights.  Here is i of them:

CABBAGE SALSA

I accept ever loved ANY form of Mexican food.  I don't know how many Mexican restaurants I've been to inwards my life, all over the Pacific Northwest.  But I never tried Mexican Cabbage Salsa until nosotros moved to the Wenatchee area.  At every Mexican eatery here, the warm-up is hot Tortilla Chips, Tomato Salsa too Cabbage Salsa.  (Technically called Cabbage Salad, but the flavors scream Salsa)  I had to larn to acquire far because it is fabulous served alongside Tortilla Chips!  It is a staple at my trouble solid inwards the summertime.

First, leave of absence to your garden or the Farmer's Market too catch a cabbage.  Cut away all the greenish leaves, wash,  and gut the tough centre core.  Shred, either yesteryear mitt or inwards a Food Processor.

Here are the other ingredients you'll need:

Pickled Jalapeno Nacho Rings & Juice (3-4 tbs. diced Jalapenos & 1/4 loving cup of the juice)
3-4 Tbs. diced red onion (or more)
1 clove garlic, smashed too diced
1 handful chopped Cilantro leaves
ii diced Roma Tomatoes
Salt & Pepper to taste
Juice of 3-5 fresh Limes (5 if real small)

Combine all ingredients together, adjusting to suit your taste, too refrigerate close ii hours to let flavors to blend.  Serve alongside warmed tortilla chips to your real favorite people!
